What to include
Please tell us your Carry version, iOS or iPadOS version, device model, the action you were taking, and what happened. Screenshots are useful when they do not reveal information you prefer to keep private.
Do not attach a Carry Backup unless support explicitly requests one and you understand that it may contain precise Shot Positions and other local Carry data.
Frequently asked questions
Does Carry need an account or internet connection?
No. Carry has no account or cloud service, and its core features work offline.
Can I use Carry without location permission?
Yes. Enter a Manual Shot Distance instead. Clubs, History, Profiles, Settings, backup, and restore remain available.
What does Tracked Shot Distance measure?
The straight-line distance between the accepted start and finishing positions. It includes bounce and roll and is not airborne carry distance.
Does Carry record my route?
No. It retains only the accepted starting and resulting Shot Positions and their Location Accuracy estimates.
Where is my data?
On your device. Carry does not send your Clubs, Shots, or locations to CommonMedia GmbH or to a cloud service.
How do Carry Backups work?
Create a backup in Settings and choose its destination through the iOS share sheet. The file is unencrypted and can include precise Shot Positions, so store it carefully. Restore replaces current Carry data after confirmation.
